With almost 20-years tradition of providing high-quality care, Chapel Brook House is now in the fifth year of its present ownership. The house is set in its own grounds with adequate parking. While ideally located for visitors in the centre of town, our home is also extremely quiet and peaceful.
The home provides a range of individually-furnished single and companion rooms, most with ensuite facilities; and communal or individual dining facilities.
Over the last four years, the food, decor and facilities have all been substantially upgraded. Menus are carefully overseen by the Owner, a fully qualified professional Chef, who often uses her culinary skills to provide delicious cakes for diabetic / non-diabetic guests alike.
There is a dedicated member of Staff appointed as Activities Co-ordinator, who organises a very wide range of Activities and Entertainments, according to the Residents' wishes. Links with local schools and churches ensure that guests enjoy continuing contact with the wider local community.
Complimentary hand and feet massages are offered as part of the standard package, while regular visiting hairdressing and chiropody services are also available at a small additional charge. Personal laundry services are free.
A nurse call system in every room ensures guests can contact a nurse at any time. Telephone and email access facilities are also available.
All the relatives, and friends, of our residents can visit as frequently as they wish. They are always very welcome and we are delighted to see them.
